This is my review post on the Braves vs. Marlins game from August 28, 2008. The link to all the pictures will be below the review since there are 85 pictures; it would take too long to include all of them in the post. Some are linked in the post, though. Please continue reading if you wish.

~JB-Atlanta, GA
Josh Anderson got this one started off with a homer and the hits just kept on coming. He finished the night 2-6 with a stolen base and had another good night. But before the smoke had cleared, every visiting starter got a hit in this one as both the Fish and Bravos pounded out [...]

Ladies and gentlemen, the impossible has happened. The Atlanta Braves…have won a game. Not only did they win, but they won after giving up the lead three separate times. The game should’ve been a blowout, but it ended up being quite close. Talk about a roller coaster of a game.

Never in my life (or at least, what I can recall) have I seen the Braves perform so poorly. On a 4-game losing streak, again, coming off a sweep from the worst team in the Major Leagues, and still not seeming like the Braves that I grew up with. What’s even more depressing, however, is how this team continues to lose one-run games on the road. I can’t even comprehend how this streak has lasted so long.

Okay, so this team has seen better days. The Braves lost the series against the Nationals (read: the worst team in the Major Leagues [debatable]) on Sunday afternoon. Not only did they lose, but they got swept. It’s games like these that make me question why the drinking age is 21.

Not this game, I can tell you that.
Fan post c/o of Todd Thurman in Washington DC.
Ah, August baseball. the time of the year when the Braves have already wrapped up the division and have put the scrubs in to get a taste of the show. Wait a minute, something is not right here. Let’s see where the mistakes are. Let’s see…August? [...]

The usually reliable Mike Gonzalez who has been a beacon for youth and excellence in an aging bullpen with more holes in it than my grandpa’s underwear, couldn’t get the job done.
You’ve got to love his competitive spirit. This photo I found after yesterday’s loss on the Braves’ website shows the anger and frustration [...]

Sorry for the lack of posts everyone. Again, I’ve been lazy or busy doing school-related things. Or there’s also the fact that we can’t win a game now it seems. But other than that, I will post my game review of the 28th game vs. the Marlins probably tomorrow or Wednesday. It’s not as in-depth as some of the past reviews I’ve written, but it works. I also got a few autographs and pictures after the game before they left for Washington, and that’s in the post as well.

Braves 4 Nationals 8
Questions: How bad do you have to pitch before Bobby will yank you?
How bad do you have to be to get swept by the Nationals?
When will it end?
Well today’s recap is an on the road, mid game post brought to by the trusty iPhone so I won’t be able to do much [...]

Will we even win another game? Elmer Dessens, sheesh.
