Read the rest of this entry »Another day, another lose at home to the phils. The phils beat the braves every game the played at Turner Field. No one has swept the Braves at home since 1909. But, that is just the way this season has been going.

MLBTR has posted their 2009 Offseason Outlook on the Braves. While it’s not too in depth, it does cover the basics and the needs we will be looking to fill this off season. It’s kind of like stepping into Frank Wren’s shoes for a moment and looking toward next season’s possibilities.

Read the rest of this entry »This was kind of a good news / bad news game. On the “bad news” we lost, our pen failed to hold the lead, twice and Parr gave up his first runs. On the good news side, at least we lost to the team who is in the process of catching the mets (again).

The Braves showed some signs of life in the first game, only to be totally shut down in the second. Who would have thought we’d beat the great Jose Santana, but get blanked by a pitcher with an ERA of 15? But, I guess that is the way it goes sometimes.
