Braves lost again. On the road in a one run game and thus, lost another series.
Surprisingly, Chuck James only gave up three runs. Of course he gave up his mandatory homer to Aaron Rowand but the Braves couldn’t come up with a series win even against the second to last place Giants.

As you well know by now we had to say goodbye to the voice of the Braves. This news comes along with a complete smattering of bad news that has been piled high and buried us deep.

It’s hard for me to come up with the words to write this blog post, mainly because I don’t think its sunk in yet. I first heard the news as soon as I woke up this morning, and to me, it seemed unreal. Skip Caray, one of the main announcers and a name that is synonymous with the Braves, passed away last night in his sleep at the age of 68.

Longtime Braves announcer, Skip Caray, has passed away today. He will be dearly missed by Braves fans all over and even in areas throughout the game of baseball. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. R.I.P. Skip Caray. ♥
