Okay, here is the situation… You don’t want to trade away anyone who’s going to be good down the line, like McCann or Jurrjens, obviously. And there’s no reason not to trade away anyone who’s going to be a free agent after the season. So the long term and the near term are easy.

Trade Deadline Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the Trade Deadline and I’ve been hearing and reading a lot of different rumors. I won’t even think about posting them all. Just when things couldn’t get worse…

The Braves opened their series against the Cardinals on Monday night, and frankly, I don’t know what their intentions were. After blowing the two games on Saturday and Sunday, and the announcement of Chipper and Hudson being sent to the DL, they were unable to rebound and dropped another game in grand fashion to put them 7.5 back from first.
