Game 45

I would love to be a fly on the wall in the mets locker room tonight (minus the Church injury). I’ve been reading the mets are on the brink of implosion and a day like today can’t help. The Braves hadn’t swept a double header since 2003, and then to take both games here, in such embarrassing fashion (from the mets perspective), it has got to sting.

Miracle Braves

Game 44

The Brave got back to a little ABC baseball today. Until the seventh, all the runs were driven in by singles and sac flies. Throw in a bunt and a couple productive outs, great pitching, and you’ve got a nice Braves win. While sitting around waiting for the three run home run is nice, it’s good to know when it doesn’t happen, the Braves can still score runs.
